Same here, trouble free patches. During reboot upon the cumulative update Hello login was required to confirm, NET required reboot too. That's my only complaint about MS updates - reboots.

I've been running it since it appeared in Release Preview. I really haven't noticed much of a difference. I'm probably not using the new features. If you have any specific questions go ahead and ask.

Weell....for one thing, you can make the seconds appear on the taskbar time-keeper now. It's cute for my Rainmeter skin but doesn't thrill me as a minuscule extra addition in my otherwise hidden taskbar. But that's just one opinion. Others may find it very useful.

Oh yeah, I did enable that.

@Trooper Is it worth installing? Doesn't seem like a big deal but doesn't seem to hurt anything either. You'll get it eventually anyway. Might as well if it is offered.

    How does one manage that?

Well, Gandalf_The_Grey in "the other forum" explained that you would need to go into Taskbar Behaviors (which you can get via right-click on the taskbar and then: Taskbar settings).

In that Taskbar behavior section, there's a box to tick that says something along the lines of "enable seconds in the taskbar clock" or something to that effect. Sorry, don't have the Windows 11 drive installed right now but that should be sufficient (one hopes). :)

Oh, I see. So Win11 feature only. That's why I can't find it in Win10.

    OK, thanks.

There is no such option in Taskbar Behaviors on my Win 11 machine. Running Win 11 Pro 22621.1778. Darn, was all excited to have a seconds feature again....

    catspyjamas,

There was no Taskbar Behaviors on three of my computers until a couple of days ago. I did a Windows Update on these computers and Taskbar Behaviors appeared.

    I have Win 11 Pro 22621.1778 too.

I have taskbar Behaviours in my settings, but no option there to enable seconfs on the clock. Do you have such an option @Brian K ?

That's how mine looked prior to the Windows Update.

"Show seconds in system tray clock (uses more power)" appeared after the Update.

Edit.. "There was no Taskbar Behaviors on three of my computers..." was incorrect. I meant there was no ""Show seconds in system....."

Hmmm. I wonder why I don't have it then? We are running identical versions.

Maybe you'll get it in a future update? Hopefully so. :thumb: It does make my cpu use go from 0% to 1% if everything is idle. No biggie, my Rainmeter clock already shows it anyway.

Another passive-aggressive thing by Microsoft to keep Edge installed--no link in Settings opens my default browser Firefox any more. Wowser. :doubt: Just not capitulating, just not gonna do it.
