Read your post and decided to give it a try, my first impressions were that it's the most beautiful looking piece of software I've seen. However, it takes ages to backup, no comparison to either Reflect or Image for Windows
check your settings. for me, R-drive image is very fast backing up and restoring, only slightly slower than Image for Windows. Macrium Reflect is way slower if you set the compression to the same level.
I've been reading some R-Drive Image reviews. They are mostly positive. Their YouTube video that is linked to on their website needs to be updated. It's 10 years old and mentions that it runs on all recent versions of Windows and doesn't even list Windows 10 or 11.
