With uBlock Origin default settings the mentioned video plays,
even when I add Fanboy's Annoyance and uBlock Annoyances it still plays,
but when I add regions, languages NLD: EasyDutch, the video no longer plays, it doesn't even show.

    Thx but it didn't help.

It worked until Privacy Eraser did its daily clearing job. After that it stopped working again. However after the routine described above it started working again.

Hmmm, I can't move forward to get it resolved.

The first success - EasyList is to blame, now to find out which rule is the culprit.

Does anyone use uBlockO to filter ads on Pluto TV? Looking for some filters for that source. Other streaming filters would also be appreciated.

    Thanks

Why is uBlock Origin's icon showing a yellow badge?

I'm using the suspend network activity feature and recently I've noticed that some ads have slipped through, which shouldn't happen because network activity should be completely stopped until all filters are loaded. I hope v1.48 will be improved in this regard.

Mr. Hill once again explaining not to run more than one content blocker. Specifically, do not run more than one blocker containing EasyList, which I would imagine would also be contained in the Brave arsenal, no?

Sometimes it's tempting but if I'm craving yet another list, I'll go find one on filter lists.com

Still on v. 1.47.4. C'mon Moz, can we move this along already?

I know, it's ridiculous how long it's taking them to validate the latest release.

Thanks alot Stupendous Man! After purging and updating a couple times today ( a lot of lists needed updating more than once), the update to 1.48.0 came thru. I had already backed up my latest settings and was going to install it from Moz add-ons store but it wasn't necessary.

I knew it had updated on its own because the uBO shield briefly turned yellow when I opened Friefox. :)

Edit: has to be done also outside of Sandboxie.

    thx.

someone noticed a new page context entry when "filterAuthorMode" * is enabled ("true") in advanced settings?
*this setting enables permanently the old visible choice for allow/noop/block instead double tapping ctrl

Normally I don't touch those settings, but for experimental purpose, I enabled it, and yes it does show the "Allow" (green) mode without having to double-tap the <Ctrl> key.

Gorhill has always advised against enabling "Allow" for any domain, but there are a few cases where I have no other option, otherwise the desired page content won't render.

Guys, I need your feedback. How does imdb.com load on your machines? I always get to see the ''loading dots'' while scrolling moviepages on imdb.com, in other words I get to see a slight 2 second delay will scrolling, see links. So sections like ''Movie Picks'' don't load instantly. Some people say it might be caused by uBlock, but I believe this isn't the case. I think it's just bad website design, the old imdb.com loaded instantly.

I get the dots when scrolling with uBlock enabled or not in Firefox, but for only about a one second delay.

OK, so it also doesn't load instantly for you, thanks for checking. I can't stand the one or two second delay.

I told imdb.com that their website is designed like crap, but they said the page should load instantly based on their testing, and that my problem is caused by adblockers, I guess they lied. I also don't really see a difference with uBlock and Vivaldi's built-in adblocker, whether they are enabled or not, it's still slow as hell. Those imdb.com developers should be fired.
