    Today I can log into my Credit Union with Firefox. Called the Credit Union a few days ago and I was not the only one having problems logging in with Firefox. After the Credit Union did there routine maintenance this weekend all is fine now. The Credit Union said they usually have this problem sometimes when they update Firefox. Looks like the next update with Firefox I'll wait until after the Credit Union does their Maintenance then update Firefox.

    one possible reason may be the user agent part "rv:11" (rv:110). "rv:11" indicates internet explorer v11, i had this on android with the nightly 110 and i had a positive call with my bank, they fixed it.

    I flipped a coin to choose which Firefox thread to post this in, the "massive overhaul moves" or the "new browser version." The latter won, though I was really hoping massive.

    Firefox persists in hitting Cloudflare for DoH despite a custom provider set in Network Settings.

    Note: The images show data as collected the moments the screenshots were taken. A new and default Firefox profile was used for each DoH configuration. The pref tweaks detailed below made no difference, so no screenies for that. FF v110.0. Quad9 used for this example discovery.

    The top and middle screenshots show the Cloudflare (Default) provider. The server(s) are on a 172 dot etc. network, though 104 are more prevalent.

    network.trr.default_provider_uri and network.trr.uri are both https://mozilla.cloudflare-dns.com/dns-query

    The bottom screenshot is with https://dns.quad9.net/dns-query as the custom provider in Network Settings. Note the 172 dot etc. and even the 104s show up here occasionally.

    And even with network.trr.custom_uri, network.trr.default_provider_uri and network.trr.uri ALL at https://dns.quad9.net/dns-query, no diff.

    In desperation and despair Just for grins, I even bumped network.trr.mode to 3 and threw in the long-defunct network.trr.bootstrapAddress set at 9.9.9.9. No diff.

    Verrrrry interesting...

    both belong to CF -> DNS. but DoH has switches in background, not in regular settings.

    network.trr.mode
    https://wiki.mozilla.org/Trusted_Recursive_Resolver

    enable -> "2" which means use TRR by default but use also backup. so firefox is requesting both.
    you need to set it "3"

    No diff = didn't make any difference. Sorry if the slang caused any confusion. :(

    sorry, cant help you, insufficient knowledge about DoH.

    concerning user created css (userChrome/userContent). mozilla is going to remove
    Code:
    -moz-image-region
    currently nightly 112 is concerned, but i will happen for the 112beta and 112 nighty.
    check your css.

    Aris "custom_css_for_fx_v4.3.1v7" is also concerned., in special images for another folder icon.
    4.3.2 (dev) also is concerned.

    This has now been fixed in dev3:
    https://github.com/Aris-t2/CustomCSSforFx/releases

    He just split the dual images into two separate files.

    Version 110.0.1 caused a new minor (but annoying) issue for me:

    I have 6 buttons in my (bookmarks) toolbar. And until 110.0.1 I had arranged them beginning in the left corner (starting with a flexible space). It looked this way:

    bt-1.jpg

    With the new version the buttons are arranged starting approximately in the middle of the toolbar and in contrary to the former versions I cannot move (drag) the buttons horizontally, e.g. from the center more to the left. They are stuck in the middle. So it looks with version 110.0.1:

    bt-2+.jpg

    I hope it is a bug that will be fixed in the future. Did other users observe the same behaviour?

    [For a general description of the customization of the toolbar see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/customize-firefox-controls-buttons-and-toolbars]

    i have seen that "issue" before, but i dont consider an issue in firefox, more for your design.
    take a picture, then reset the bars and rebuild from scratch. that will work.

    Unfortunately it did'nt. Even in safe mode and after creating a new Firefox profile the issue was still here: Dragging a button is not possible to somewhere left of the middle of the bar.

    why it happend is beyond my knowledge. what i can tell you that they probably corrected some value inside where the text for #personal-toolbar-empty has now full width.
    solution for you (and others)
    userChrome.css
    Code:
    #personal-toolbar-empty {display: none;}
    what i can tell you that a clean profile is not concerned, see image. and its not depending of standard or compact mode, nor menu list or not.

    Thanks for the information and the screenshot, Brummelchen. For the time being I will try to get accustomed to the new position of the buttons. Perhaps some time I will try once more a new profile or I will explore a little bit the entry in the userChrome.css you mentioned. Another alternative would be to transfer the buttons from the bookmarks toolbar into the "regular" toolbar (the one with the address field). There the dragging of the buttons continues to work without problems for me too.

    i got some informations - mozilla corrected the visibility of that element for windows. that was i assumed, but i still have no clue why an existing profile is concerned and not a fresh one.

    I assume you refer to this and the following postings in the German forum camp-firefox.de:
    https://www.camp-firefox.de/forum/t...10-0-1-verschoben/?postID=1221128#post1221128

    --> I will take a look at the userChrome.css.

    :thumb: O.k. I did not even have an entry for #personal-toolbar-empty in my userChrome.css
    But when adding it in the way described by you above in posting #4819 respectively by .DeJaVu at camp-firefox.de:

    or
    the buttons in the bookmarks toolbar are indeed again at their correct position.

    Thanks again, Brummelchen. :)

    for firefox and userChrome i always use the !important when existing values have to be overwritten. in some cases for css in pages (using Stylus)
    Code:
    #personal-toolbar-empty {display: none !important;}
    my styling knowledge for firefox is very limited, but i know how to use the tools ;)

    and yes, i read that forum, probably because its the biggest german community and my mother language is german. i also read mozillazine, but not that often. too many ancient firefox versions on the run where no help is possible.
    for ublock there is no other community than here, sounds strange, but real.
