The new App Store ads are rather bad. I find it hard to believe that Apple is willing to risk its brand value for a “few” dollars…
No, unfortunately, anything that boosts their revenue, which is all that matters, is welcome in Cupertino. Yes, because Apple has learned from past years that its broad user base is extremely loyal. We can be sure that Apple will serve and explain the need for additional advertising in a such manner that users will accept. Perhaps people will complain but won't be willing to abandon Apple devices.
