@Minimalist chromium.org is the only official website of the chromium project.

Yes, I understand about Chromium itself. I meant that this thread was started about privacy focused woolyss builds (you can check original post).
They release less often than Chromium which probably releases new code every day. I also doubt that many users here will download and compile code on their own.

i understand. actually there was a separate thread for the official chromium releases but the mods merged it with this one.

in the past i asked about compiling own builds because Rob retired. it needs a fast machine and a lot of memory and the proper compiler. and some time over hours. experience is growing in time.

with Rob my usage of nightly changed, close to dropped. i also dont have the latest stable, in case of chromium build i just start Edge and thats it.

I wonder why they don't better organize the list? I always have a crappy of a time trying to reach the right release. I admit many times i would wait until someone here posts a direct lead to a updated WIN x64 release simply because it's chaotic.

    Chaotic indeed.

That's why I always get it from here (for Windows):
    https://chromium.woolyss.com/#windows-64-bit
I prefer the Ungoogled one made by Marmaduke (mini installer).
But an up to date installer of the official one from The Chromium Authors is listed there as well.

    Another place to get it:
    https://download-chromium.appspot.com/?platform=Win_x64&type=snapshots

For Linux I mainly use the Archive (also the Ungoogled one from Marmaduke).

Ungoogled Chromium needs the chromium-web-store extension to be able to install and update extensions.

    [Edit]
Found a Powershell script to update official Chromium:
    https://github.com/mikhail-tsennykh/Chromium-Updater
Don't know if it will still work though. It's old (2012).

To automatically update Woolyss builds you can have a look at this:

Why Marmaduke version instead of Ungoogled version?

    Marmaduke's version is Ungoogled. :)

Or do you mean for Linux?
The Archive from Marmaduke was the only one that didn't have dependency issues here (maybe that has changed since I upgraded my system, but I didn't bother to test again).

The first link in post #512 shows for Windows 64-bit, Marmaduke AND Ungoogled, among others. Hence the question.

In the midst of what's turned into a nonstop day and night no sleep marathon session i like to offer my thanks as i caught wind of this release. D/Lng now. (secure erasing UFD's with 3 pass secure low level wipe for UFD boot plugs-ran into a issue with 8.1 Custom Refresh can't be written troublshooting), and in all that installed NeuShield AntiRansomware but had a dickens of a time how to uninstall it- It protects itself like you wouldn't believe (NO LOCAL UNINSTALLER) and doesn't appear in file managers either. No turnoff switch either. Oh Boy! Website finally had a page how to use command prompt, enter a number in boxes before it officially uninstalls fully. All that while run a Backup Image earlier which came in handy when something really went wacky. Multitasking several different tasks concurrently. o_O
