Softmaker FreeOffice 2021 is now available

Right??!? So am I. I got it for $20, and I'm so glad I bought it. I've had perfect compatibility with Office files with Ashampoo.

 

I'm now using Office 2013 because I bought a cheap legit license, not a dodgy one. However for those who don't need 100% MS Office compatibility Free/SoftMaker/Ashampoo Office are excellent alternatives.

myelf using SMO 2018 and 2021, but planmaker is pain concerning larger tables - where excel creates 1meg, PM creates 70meg (from the same base file saving few changes) and PM is even more pain when used on android (free version).

Ashampoo is only a labeled retailer, ofc you can use the updates from softmaker for it. (unpack)

 

I paid Ashampoo Office 8. $20/ 5 user/ lifetime license.

On sale today $15.

 

I'm aware that support ends next year and I'll have to buy another license at some point. But, I occasionally need full MS Office compatibility and don't want to pay for an Office 365 subscription.
