Came across this deal on Stacksocial Microsoft Office Professional 2021 for Windows or Mac: Lifetime License - 1 PC - Includes Updates -- $59.99 Download 2 days only https://stacksocial.com/sales/microsoft-office-professional-plus-2021-for-windows
I would be careful with this site. If you search on Internet many people complaining it is a scam…anyway to me it seems too good to be true!
Thanks @Antarctica Sorry for posting this "deal." "Stack Social advertised Microsoft… Stack Social advertised Microsoft Office Professional 2021 Lifetime for $39.99 today, August 3, 2022. Purchased software, but provided product key advised that the product key had already been used on a different account when I tried to activate MS Office only 10-15 minutes after purchase from Stack Social. No customer support, supposedly can't get a refund after the product key showed on my computer; scam and will be contacted State Attorney General after seeing other reviews with same results." https://www.trustpilot.com/reviews/62eaf4cd4c35e69ec522bef7
I have purchased two copies of it. The price is right! Now, I have purchased a lot of apps from Stacksocial (mostly, VPN’s) over several years and have never had any issues! They have a very responsive customer service team. It’s only my personal experience about that website.
Ran into the nearly same identical "deal" roughly a month ago via SharewareOnSale Deals for even a few dollars less... ($43.43 with tax... ain't that a peach!)... The same website I downloaded the "great so far" Kerish Doctor. So far, no glitches with the new downloaded version. Are the detractors here saying this could possibly be a malware download? All elaborations, clarifications, and embellishments are exceedingly welcome.
So far all the software I bought on stack social was afaik directly from the devs of it. Never had a problem so far. Office from a reseller there may be another story but so far all my stuff bought on stack social worked for me. The office "reseller" seems to make some problems..... if you read through it. https://www.trustpilot.com/review/stacksocial.com?page=1
They are a trustworthy seller, but this is not a legal license and it is actually provided by some key selling website. It's not malware and also not a legal license for Office. You can never buy a legal license for Office for a fraction of the normal retail cost. They are selling Office Professional Plus, which is can not legally be sold as an individual license. Pro plus licenses are volume licenses that can only legally be used by the organisation that they were supplied to. These licenses can be activated twenty times and in order to maximise profits some sellers will sell the same license key twenty times. So for example if twenty people are sold the same key and activate it, if someone reinstalls Windows and tries to use the key again to activate Office, they won't be able to do so as it's already been used the maximum number of times. Also, it's worth noting that while I don't recommend buying Pro Plus licenses, you can buy them from other sellers far cheaper than from StackSocial. https://forums.redflagdeals.com/mic...fetime-license-49-99-usd-2525626/8/#p35829968
1. Yes, it's a TRUSTWORTHY Seller! N.B. Let's put aside all those "downloading malware or PIRATING, etc..." expressions. 2. As you have explained, you are, so called, joining a team of 20 people (for a small/er fee) in order to use that MS Office Pro (Home). It's NOT A PIRATED(?) PROGRAM like some wilderssecurity members mentioned. You cannot use it until you register with MICROSOFT OFFICE web-site, download the program, and enter the CODE! Microsoft is SUPERVISING your MS Office! I have an account with Microsoft for many years. I've purchased several (similar type of) MS Office Pro - 2003, 2013, 2016, 2019, and now, 2021. It's all REGISTERED with Microsoft Web-site!
A GREAT job of hammering down and nailing that. What should hopefully be a nip in the bud, so to speak. Thank you!
FWIW: I discovered this deal from MarketWatch--a highly-traficked and reputable site. It was their recommended Deal of the Day. Would be surprising if their recommended Deal of the Day was a scam. https://www.marketwatch.com/picks/d...soft-office-2021-for-less-than-50-01649086445
That fact that it's a trustworthy seller means nothing when it is being sold illegally. Also, while StackSocial is trustworthy, in the past the keys were coming from topfastkeys.com which isn't. If you don't believe me, just Google it. Just look at the many negative reviews on TrustPilot. I don't know if they are still using TopFastKeys this time or some other dodgy source this time. https://www.trustpilot.com/review/topfastkeys.com It is illegal for them to sell the product keys and for people who buy them to use these keys. These product keys can only legally be used by the organisation they were issued to. It's not just me who is saying that, Microsoft says the exact same thing. With even just a little bit of Googling you will see this. Note they never say that it's a grey area, they always say it's illegal for these keys to be sold. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/howtotell/Shop.aspx Also this is worth reading. https://www.tekgia.com/content/11-7-tips-on-how-to-avoid-buying-fake-microsoft-office-software The keys will usually activate with no issues as they are genuine keys. Sometimes they won't because the key has already reached its activation limit, in which case if you contact the seller they should issue you another product key. However sometimes, certainly not always, Microsoft will see that the keys are being sold and used illegally and then blacklist the keys. If a key is blacklisted Office will no longer be activated and you will need to buy another key. If you want to you such keys, that's up to you. But please remember that, not only are the keys are being sold illegally, but if you purchased from StackSocial you have been ripped off. You can buy the same dodgy keys for around $1 from AliExpress. The StackSocial listing did say it was for Pro Plus, but I see that the listing no longer mentions Plus. It doesn't matter though, as it's still illegal.
I rather use a KMS activator which has GVLKs, if I'm going to do it illegally. Al least you're not purchasing stolen MAKs from third-parties.
I don't get it. Why spend $60 for this when you can go to Microsoft and get legal one year subscription to Office 365 for just a few dollars more?
Permanent for how long? I'd rather put out the extra few dollars and not have to wonder, will office work if my pc crashes or dies and I need to reinstall everything.
MAKs activate your Office/Windows permanently and that means forever as long as you do not reformat your hdd and reinstall office again. MAK (Multiple Activation Key) MAKs are stolen from real enterprises / big businesses which purchase them to activate multiple workstations.
If you buy a retail copy of Office, the license is valid forever. If you reinstall Windows or switch to a new PC you can use the same license. For volume licenses like the one in this case, it will stop working if Microsoft decide to blacklist the key because it was being sold illegally. Also, once the key has been activated twenty times, it can't be used again.
Assuming you don't do anything to get the license revoked it is a non-expiring license. These get security updates only, no feature updates. 365 gets feature updates as well but must be renewed each year.
