Thank you, JRViejo, may be that here not many of us use Opera, but your updates post are very useful.

Opera suits and serves me the best already for ages since version 8 or so (good old Presto times).

Opera uses Chromium. Do Spywareblaster works with Opera, so that it works with other Chromium or Chrome based browsers ?

Why do you like it better than Vivaldi?

I also prefer Opera than Vivaldi, basically for the GUI, that I find more intuitive in Opera.

Of course that I gave a try Vivaldi, even severally but Opera tastes me more. I don’t need all Vivaldi’s customizations, mail etc. Opera is more sleek and snappy.

OK, I see. If you really don't need the extra functions I can understand, but Vivaldi is snappy enough for me. And trust also plays a role for me, I believe Opera is a bit of a sneaky company ever since the take-over.

May be you're reason. I can add that Opera don't work fine on all the sites, sometimes I have to change browser to see some site. But, for me, it's an esthetic preference.

It's weird but the issue has been resolved by the Windows patch KB5015807. I originally thought that the fix was brought by the Opera's new build 4447.48 but the entries in Windows Reliability Monitor showed the Win patch was the solution instead.
