OK, thanks for the notification. Against my better judgement, I installed the optional update, along with a .NET Framework one. Left me with about 4 GB less on the drive so I cleaned it up. Seems OK for now and on a restart. Let's hope it doesn't break anything.

Tuesdays updates for Win10 with no issues here...

 

Win 11 updates, so far so good.

KB5014699 caused intermittent internet outages on my end. Removed the update and everything's fine again. Suspended the updates for 7 days.

Upon more scrutiny it turned out that the outages were caused by the hotspot. Once the hotspot was disabled the net connection got back. It's a fully reproducible. Hotspot disabled - net works, hotspot enabled - net breaks. This is definitely a bug in KB5014699 as it never happened before this patch. Can anyone confirm this?
