I'm using Sandboxie Classic 5.55.10 (64-bit) When I try to copy something from the internet (on my web browsers) or when I try to copy text or an image from an email in Thunderbird, I get this message: SBIE2205 Service not implemented: CloseClipboard C0000058 It copies, but I get that error message every time. I don't think this was happening with Sandboxie-Classic-x64-v5.55.8. Any ideas? Thank you!
is a matter from 2015 and KB3057839. the clipboard is a service in windows. according to (no longer) existing sandboxie forum from 2015 that issue was fixed or not present. https://www.google.com/search?q=CloseClipboard C0000058
Thank you for the reply. Seven years later, the issue seems to reoccur. KB3057839 isn't installed on my machine (or at least I don't see it in "view installed updates" in Windows 10. I don't know if there's a fix within Sandboxie, but I just updated Sandboxie to v 5.55.10 two days ago. I don't recall the problem before that. Should I reinstall the older version or has my ini file been changed by the new installation? Thanks again.
ok can you tell me which exact version is that last to work or which is the first to have this issue.
Sure, David. This is the version that had the issue: Sandboxie-Classic-x64-v5.55.10 This is the version that works: Sandboxie-Classic-x64-v5.55.8 Thanks for your hard work!!
I must have missed that update, so I never tried it. I'll try & download it later & let you know. Thanks again.
I just tried Sandboxie-Classic-x64-v5.55.9. No issues with copying from either a sandboxed Thunderbird or web browser. I see you have a Sandboxie-Classic-x64-v5.55.11. I can give that a try also. Thanks again for your hard work!
