Thaks, but following the link and clicking on the PayPal donate button just ends up at https://www.paypal.com/uk/home.

I'm using Firefox x64 (latest) BTW, but I have tried many FF versions over the months.

For me it works as described and shown by bjm_

I use Firefox x64 like you.

The only idea I have: Do you use "NoScript" or "uBlock Origin" or something similar? Sometimes they have remarkable influence on what you can see on the screen. I use uBlock Origin and depending at which moment I allow "paypalobjects.com" I come either to the specific page shown in bjm_'s picture or to a general page https://www.paypal.com/fundraiser/hub (where indeed there is no direct possibility to make a payment).

Thanks and to Peter123. Got it to work in Edge simply by disabling all extensions, so was able to donate. No idea why I didn't try that earlier

Is it possible to have SBIE plus autostart minimized to the taskbar? Right now it autostarts fine and runs great but I would like to not see the gui @ startup.

I have just had the strangest thing happen with Plus 1.0.3.
After I closed my browser I noticed the Plus taskbar icon still had the flames on it.
I tried to open it from taskbar.. it wouldn't open.
I looked in taskmanger and CPU was 25  (screenshot below)
I tried opening Plus from desktop icon and got the screenshot below.
Again it was not possible to do anything.
After a few more click attempts taskbar icon disappeared totally :D

I then opened browser from default browser icon to find that I now have Classic 5.55.3.
So in taskbar I have Classic (and it is running as Classic)
According to Settings ..Apps I have Plus 1.0.3. installed.
On desktop I have Sandman icons.

When I uninstalled Classic to put Plus on, all I kept was the .ini file which Plus picked up.
I will try a restart of machine etc when I have posted this just in case it brings Plus back. I will also double click on Sandman desktop icon to see what happens. (didn't want to do it until I posted this)

Now I seem to be running both Classic and Plus.
    I think I need a lie down :)

    @DavidXanatos
I did a full restart of machine and Plus is back in charge again this morning.
I already had those setting checked. (I actually had start with Windows checked as well.)

I will keep an eye on things.

So I've used the old Sandboxie for a couple of years about 3 or 4 years ago. Decided to try this new version. Took me at least 15 minutes to figure out how to run a browser sandboxed, and then it wouldn't load, just a blank screen, and a bunch of popups occurred which I had no desire to even read. So for me this version is a no go.

First of all the usual, Gaming no change all fine.

I had a look and plus shows also some 0,13CPU, fresh start. Checked to compare with the classic and that one is on 0,07. After closing and starting plus fresh it went to 0,07. After some minutes back to 0,13. In ProcessExplorer you see 0,20. 4 threads, 1 active. Sometimes 3-4 four more pop up. Comparing both in ProcExp, it looks similar threadwise, but plus uses more CPU. <0,01 vs 0,20.

@digmor crusher Or alternatively you can also try the last official (non-pre) release of Sandboxie Plus (= v0.9.8d):
    https://github.com/sandboxie-plus/Sandboxie/releases/tag/0.9.8d

For me it works fine after also having used before the classic version.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I suppose if I really dove into it I could figure the new version out, but for now I just don't have the time or desire to do so.

Digmor the 5.55.3 Classic version is just like the one you used to use. You will have no problem navigating or using it.

@digmor crusher so for you the super old sandboxie build worked with which browser correctly? Did you have any particular workarounds configured?

I think digmor said he used to use Sandboxie 2 or 3 years ago so he can not answer your question. But I ll tell you what my experience is right now between the browsers I use and the old and reliable 5.33.6. In short, the browsers I use do work great under SBIE 5.33.6. No ifs and's or but's. Regarding workarounds. The only workaround I use for Edge is --no-sandbox --test-type and none for Firefox.

@digmor crusher Chrome browsers used to work OK with the legacy 5.33.6 build until early October 2020. If it's been 3-4yrs since you used Sandboxie, you will likely find the legacy build no longer works for you with Chrome, Edge or any Chromium browser unless you apply the workarounds as per Bo's comment above. As far as I understand this workaround removes the browsers own in-built sandbox. It should be noted that there have been many security fixes applied to David's fork which are core in both the Classic version and the Plus versions. I'm sure Bo would be willing to help you get the legacy build working with your Chromium browsers if you'd prefer to use that one again. But as stapp said above, the Classic version of Davi'd fork is identical in terms of GUI and user experience as the legacy build, it jut doesn't require any of the workarounds and contains security fixes.

I mean no offence to anyone and have no wish to start any unpleasantness - just offering my experience in the hopes it'll help.
