Suddenly I am unable to print while sandboxed. Running 5.55.0. Re-installed to no avail. Need some help. TIA
Using 5.55.0 I have just printed off a doc as a test... no problems. Also copied some text from a webpage while sandboxed and selected 'Print' from right-click option. It printed. Perhaps you could give more details so David or someone else can help? Which operating system? Which printer, wired or wireless. Have you always been able to print before? Were you printing from the internet or from your machine?
Cant print either (sandboxed Firefox 94.0.2 and a sandboxed Adobe Reader-PDF). Printer wired/USB. Reverted back to Classic v5.53.3 for now. Windows 10 Home 21H2 build 19044.1348 x64. Edit: 2 machines same problem.

@stapp...both Firefox and Vivaldi. Wired printer...OS=Win 10 latest(Hmmm..maybe this is the problem as I updated yesterday), always have been able to print from machine. I shall uninstall MS update and see. Thanks bjm_
UPDATE: Uninstalled my latest MS update KB5007289. Made no difference. Did a clean install of Sandboxie 5.55.0. Made no difference. Removed 5.55.0 and installed 0.9.8d. Not what I wanted, but it's working as it should, so for the time being I'll stay here.
Sandboxie Classic v5.55.0 x64: using Edge sandboxed I can't print and unsandboxed Edge no problems. So both Edge and Firefox have a similar print-issue it seems.
Sandboxie Plus v1.0.0 x64: using Firefox sandboxed I can't print and unsandboxed Firefox no problems. Same with a txt-file.
Suggest delete both Sandboxie.ini and Sandboxie-Plus.ini (keeping copies) and letting Sbie recreate them, then trying printing?
are you absolutely sure that with the older version printing works fine? Given how many priner issues were in the media regarding MSFT and windows 10 I'm not sure if the issue is sandboxie. on my test system i can print to PDF with the newest build, i dont have a pnysical priner set up with that machine. Does print to PDF work for you? Do i need to set up a network printer with that VM for testing?
You could be right, it can be something else. Unsandboxed no problems printing. You don’t have to investigate this. I’ll use Shadow Defender if I want to print an unsandboxed document.
Oh nice! For the record: I tried printing with v1.0.1 too but no luck. I’ll wait for the next version.
