Sorry, I don't understand your post. I think I explained in detail that my list is only intended to make Dynamic Filtering easier to handle. Needless to say that you don't need it if you don't use Dynamic Filtering. And my impression is that most participants here surprisingly don't - although it's one of uBO's most powerful features.

I did but I gave up on it for the same reason I gave up on NoScript. I just couldn't be bothered micro-managing my browsing any more.

In my opinion you use too many cosmetic filters compared to network filters.
    Try replacing Adguard Annoyance with:

    AdGuard Annoyances filter (Optimized)

Why don't you use "AdGuard URL Tracking Protection"?

Try the lighter list of Kees:

    removed here:
    Steven Black hosts
    Online Malicious URL Blocklist
ancient ad_servers (last free state, was aquired from malwarebytes)
    Anti-Facebook

reduced the amount close to 200.000, while custom lists are now 9 and used built-in lists are 8, + my filters.

steven black may have fortune when using edge but not fore other browsers. i tried to integrate in my hosts and it blew it to double size without needs, and it raises maintenance from 2 to 3 lists which makes at least no big difference, so dropped.

the url blocklist is outdated in parts, and the rest is protect from other lists or features in browser.

facebook is blocked by hosts, dropped.

Every now and then I find a website with a cookie consent notice that with my lists is completely blocked and unusable:

    https://www.obi-italia.it/

    It is useless to use:

I Don't Care about Cookies list (even if it solves the problem :))

    which has too many rules.
Better to insert in my filters the rule that solves the problem:

    ||assets.obi.de/skin/7b7fcd8/js/build/src/cookiepolicy-2020.js$script,domain=www.obi-italia.it

Yeah I hear you but overall things work ok. There was a reason I got rid of AdGuard URL Tracking Protection, but I can't remember. :\

What does "Optimized" do. I read on filterlists.com that Optimized is for iOS/Safari.
What does "Optimized" do on PC desktop?
    Thanks

“You can now use “optimized” filters, which makes Adguard even lighter on CPU and memory and still shows high quality ad blocking.”
    https://adguard.com/en/blog/adguard-browser-extension-2-1.html

Personally, I started using them when I was very concerned about the number of rules each filterlist had. The log seems to indicate they do work,

Are uBO filters "Optimized"? Or, users may manually add "Optimized" filters in lieu of the native filters? Why doesn't uBO out-of-the-box use "Optimized" filters? I'm still confused why the most efficient (lighter on CPU and memory) filters are not native?

caused some issues here at last, is disabled for some weeks here now to try out if it works without, currently only "consent blocker" working and no issues.

Hmm, very good question. Must be a very good reason b/c these so-called "optimized" lists have been around for at least a couple of years. I don't have any--just have a little over 100K network filters and 140K cosmetic filters and things load almost instantly almost all of the time without nuisances. But an answer to that question would satisfy a curiosity.

    I don't use "Optimized" with 74,069 network filters + 91,940 cosmetic filters.

Cool. You also have low numbers--nice. I should work on reducing those myself, though it would prob. have little effect on overall machine performance. :)

Are you using Adguard optimized filters in uBO or also talking about the new Adguard Extension?

In uBlock. The logger seems to indicate they are working. Unless someone wishes to correct me, I wouldn’t mind.

With the lists posted above in Edge I have just over 82000 filters.
In Firefox I have 70389 filters.

Excellent because the pc with Firefox has half the RAM, but more important to keep in mind a processor certainly less powerful.
