Trying Defender again after finally giving up on Malwarebytes Premium which I'd used as an extra layer for years.

    - Windows Defender hardened with ConfigureDefender 'High', Firewall Hardening & Simple Windows Hardening *
    - WiseVector StopX (Free version as I had issues with v3.01 Beta previously)
    - VoodooShield (Free) *
(I haven't used WVSX & VS for a while but they're proving to be a bit lighter on alerts than I remember.)

    Also:
    - AdGuard for Windows (using Quad9 DNS-over-Https) (Paid Licence)
    - Macrium Reflect v8 (Paid Licence)
    - KeePassXC & LastPass Password Managers

    On Demand Tools also available:
Avast Free, Emsisoft Emergency Kit, Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool, Malwarebytes Premium & AdwCleaner

    * Once DefenderUI Pro covers the Firewall Hardening angle I'll replace CD / FH / SWH & VS for DefenderUI Pro

Each of the 5 snapshots with Raxco IR take about 45 to 46 GB on my laptop.
I never really looked for anything else, Instant Recovery just works.
    Never tried Ashampoo.

Probably :) ... but it is working smoothly with very few alerts from VS (almost all alerts are for CMD line actions when Peazip deletes a temp directory after extracting an archive) and only 1 FP from WVSX.

@Sampei Nihira: Thank you for your reference to quad9.
I was curious and went to their website. https://www.quad9.net/

    Very impressed.

I have now changed the option in Firefox "DNS over HTTPS" from Cloudflare as the provider to custom (https://dns.quad9.net/dns-query)
Here in Australia it seems marginally quicker.

I learnt a new thing. Thank you.

    cheers and best wishes,
    feandur

Tweaked again now that VoodooShield has its new contextual engine and I decided WiseVector StopX wasn't adding much to the mix:

    - Windows Defender hardened with DefenderUI (Free) & Firewall Hardening
    - New Beta version of VoodooShield (Free)

    Also:
    - AdGuard for Windows (using Quad9 DNS-over-Https) (Paid Licence)
    - Macrium Reflect v8 (Paid Licence)
    - KeePassXC & LastPass Password Managers

    On Demand Tools also available:
Avast Free, Emsisoft Emergency Kit, Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool, Malwarebytes Premium & AdwCleaner

oldschool is wrong to write that Decentraleyes is useless.
I bought my pc a few months ago and the locally injected resources are already 1657.
But assuming it has limited (not absent) privacy functionality, the other big benefit is that it saves me bandwidth.
    Last update is September 2021.

I didn't see where he stated that, at least on the page I linked to. He did say it "provides even less benefit" than LocalCDN.

I had a look but it shows far more prefs than what I know I changed under about:config. Even if I enable "show only modified preferences", the list shows far more than what I modified :doubt:
