Thank for Krusty, Gandalf_The_Grey and Antartica for answering. I found Dan in Malwaretips. It turned out that the reason is indeed my internet starting slowly. I haven't messed with the settings of VS.

I just clean installed it tonight.

@SouthPark You may be happier with VS than H_C. I suggest setting CD at default plus a few changes: Cloud protection @ Block, Cloud check time @ 50 or 60, ransomware and network protection. Let us know how it goes. :thumb:

They don't conflict on my machines and there is no reason to think that they would. They're different programs working in different ways, doing different jobs.

I'd suggest they complement each other quite well.

Installed v6.76. Will be interested to see how differently it operates compared to v6.62 (old engine).

Does VS Free work properly with portable browsers and archivers? If so, I might give it a try.

In fact the GUI has been redesigned but Dan says he still has lots of work to do...

I couldn't find any screenshots of the new GUI, so that's why I asked. From what I understood, the new VS would get a GUI similar to DefenderUI which I actually liked. I also wonder if VS has become a bit more user friendly, similar to EXE Radar, but this is a matter of taste.
