You can reach out to Dan at support@voodooshield.com.

It sounds like you made a change to the VS settings. May I suggest you open VS and on the bottom left of the UI click on the version number (which should be 6.64), then click on Restore Default Settings.

Oh, maybe just me then. Dan sent me a link to download 6.64 in hope that it solved an issue I was having with Command Lines. It didn't.

I can't remember if it included any other fixes.

Ah, cool!! Yeah he mentioned to me that a new version was on its way and that the Command Line thing shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Go into Voodooshield's rules. Make a new rule. "allow" "Simple digital signature" then "On, Off and Autopilot"
Then in the bar below, select one of malwarebytes' files, any file that's a part of your malwarebytes installation. Then follow the next prompts and create the rule.

For windows defender's file, you do the same thing, except with that one you may want to select the "digital signature with file insight"

With windows defender, use configure defender, use the "high" preset and then change the cloud protection level to "block" and the cloud check timeout to 60 seconds.

Sorry, my mistake, I meant to quote @ako
His problem in post 18550 seems to be the same as @Blunder on MT.

Do you happen to know if VoodooShield Free would work properly with portable browsers and portable unzipping utilities? I have had some problems with the latest version of H_C and was thinking about using VS + Configure Defender instead, but I use only portable apps. (I read the VS help pdf but didn't find the info I need.) Thanks in advance.

Works the same with portable apps as it does with installed ones. The core functionality of VS...Pro or Free...is the same and works the same.

I don't think the free version has those functions unlocked.

    Just download 6.62 from voodooshield.com.

As far as I'm aware there is no current beta.

Dan has been concentrating of DefenderUI & DefenderUIPro...with his next activity expected to be to apply the same UI principles as used for DUI & DUIPro to a new version of VS.

But we need to wait to see what Dan says as and when he is ready to let us know as to his plans.

Thanks for the info. That was what I suspected based on my reading of the instructional PDF.
