I have never heard of sponsored content that you get to see in the addressbar in other browsers. I just don't think it's a good idea if you want to be seen as a company that takes privacy seriously.

I run ESR. I prefer stability and just works over new features. On version 78.15

I closed it before checking the link to see what questions were included.

I have issues with copy/paste when using Firefox and Disqus.
    Is it only me?

I always use the ESR version which seem more stable than the regular versions.

ESR is designed for stability in the enterprise environment. There are no new features, only security updates and bug fixes.

I had to manually update and the ESR update channel doesn't really offer a new version when it comes out since the Mozilla Update service is turned off in Windows for stable versions of Firefox.

I've found a partial solution to my issue.
About:config, and turn dom.event to false.

My problem was(kind of, is) about copying and pasting anything in the comment window on Disqus.
Let's say, I wanted to copy your comment, but when I post it in the Disqus comment window/space, I would get something like this.

    glad that

    you found

    a workaround.

Also, if I decide to change the fonts - italics, Bold, etc..., it would randomly assign it on its own, like

    glad that ..., etc...

When I copy and paste anything I open Notepad and paste it there first to remove any formatting and then copy that plain text into the target. A little extra work but solves most formatting issues I have.

    Yes.
This isn't the only situation where I do this. Email, Word docs, etc. Might as well be consistent.

That said, thanks for posting that in any case. I'm sure there are folks that will use those.

thank you for pointing this out.

overtaking formatting depends on the target, not on firefox. for notepad it will be plain text, for editing boxes like this one [here] it will overtake format, even winword, excel and any other sophisticated wysiwyg editor. but:
for mass usage an extension might have advantage.

BTW any one got the automatic update to v94.0 yet?

the calendar tells tomorrow, AUS might some faster, but today?

I don't expect it to hit the updater until tomorrow. It would be extremely rare for it to not come on the official Tuesday release. I always get it from their FTP or from Majorgeeks.
