Oh wow, thanks for the info, Brummelchen. It seems Google can't do much of anything about this one.

For better protection it is better to enable both flags:

    • Strict Extension Isolation
    • Strict-Origin-Isolation
    Has anyone tried this flag?

    • Change web-facing behaviors that prevent origin-level isolation

Enabled the Strict Extension Isolation flag, thanks very much! Tried that web-facing behaviors flag just now--it seems to require a bit more cpu power than without it (on here). Meh, two out of three ain't bad. :)

i know, just to inform you about. there is no issue similar known for firefox.
i use approved extensions so disabling that option is no risk for me. stay healthy people.

is no longer available, so chromium is using finally one process per extension, in my case 31 additional processes.

i did not see any difference now, there seems no or very less impact now since they started that feature. when i wrote the notice first time i had a bad impact on stating up, no longer now. and as mentioned you cannot change it any longer. it may be present int the current final but it will disappear for sure, so it does not make sense now to enable it.
