Interesting, I've never heard of electronplayer before. It's not included in the MX recommended repositories, so I'll just stick to using FF esr for Netflix content. Thanks!

I think it's bundled with Ubuntu, as I don't recall downloading it from the repo lol. It runs really well.

It's probably a snap, I just don't recall downloading it. There again, I don't recall putting my trousers on this morning. :argh:

Edit: Yes, sorry, I beg your pudding, it is a snap and I must have downloaded it (some time ago). Found it on GitHub.

(I may have to point out the term 'git' is not considered polite in British English lol)

Good point. Back on the 'fox; do you know of an extension that can close a tab with a double click? I used one on Fx and SeaMonkey for years, but I can't remember its bloody name lol. Probably doesn't exist any more.

So far it's reasonably impressive. Installed it lock, stock, and barrel on the Windows 10 unit and it even aced the Browser Audit Test better than the Chrome + Chromium installed on the 8's. Looking forward to seeing if they will pull away from the others as time goes by and the developers enhance it's security and performance even more.

no, there exist not, because lack of usage (telemetry) i guess.
maybe with a userscript, dont know, not recommended.

right click on tab > close left/right/others, additional i am using an extension for closing all tabs.

or ask here in this "brilliant" forum

I just found something a little peculiar on all three of my machines and all five operating systems (2 x Win10 21h1 and 3 x Linux distros).

In Firefox under Network Settings 'Use system proxy settings' was enabled. I don't use any proxy and didn't choose that setting. The only thing under Network Settings I've done is 'Enable DNS over HTTPS'.

Any idea why the proxy setting was enabled? Is that the default setting?

    Thanks.

Ah, OK. So that's the default setting. Good to know. Thanks for the heads-up. I didn't need to make any change but choosing 'No Proxy' won't make any difference in my case. Great!

    Cheers! :thumb:
