Good to know. This makes me a little less hesitant to start testing it.

I jumped the gun. My bad.

I have installed v92.0 and I'm using it. I guess the only positive thing is if the update corrects any nasty exploited/CVE/security holes.

Just got 92.0 via the browser's updater and the first thing that came up after the restart was an ad for Mozilla's vpn. Anyone find this interesting? I don't use vpn myself, though, just asking.

We'll probably see this with every update now. The world of Marketing.

I think Firefox is definitely making a bit of a comeback, for me anyway. It's more secure than Chrome at the moment and working really well on macOS and Ubuntu.

It works as close to flawless in Windows as far as I can tell, but in Linux MX-19.4 there are some minor but at least tolerable issues; on tsn dot ca it doesn't remember when I turn tracking protection off (the scoreboard won't display results otherwise), it doesn't always auto-fill passwords, and the occasional rendering issues with some fonts.

Interesting. I haven't noticed any problems in Ubuntu, yet.

It's early, but I've been testing the 78.0.13 esr version of FF and I haven't encountered those quirks yet.

    EDIT

Even better, I can also play Netflix content in the esr version. No such such luck in latest 92.0

I've never had any problems with Netflix, although I usually use electronplayer.

I'm having a Firefox problem, and I don't really know why or how to solve it. I use mouse gestures, simply because they're easy and fast. They are activated by the right mouse button. Now it seems like every gesture I use makes the context menu appear, which was not always the case. That gets annoying real fast. Firefox cannot differentiate between a simple right click and a mouse gesture. It's not extension related, because I've tried several and they've all had the same [issue. Does anyone else have this issue? If so, how did you solve it?
