Had to have a look, so downloaded the current stable 2.53.6, and it's just about as I remember it. This could be my default browser.
I used it long years ago and liked it. Then not so many seasons back, it got my interest again seeing it sported by @cruelsister in those fantastic vids. Out of plain curiosity I downloaded it for my own specimen (malware) collection research. I might have to have a closer look at it myself for all-purpose use perhaps.
I like the old school look. Of course, any software's GUI doesn't mean a damned thing if the program doesn't work. SeaMonkey is stable, pretty quick, and I'm finding myself liking it as much as I did in the past.

I just downloaded 2.53.7.1 on win10 20H2 64bit just updated April Windows patches. I can't install because windows defender blocks it. "Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk. App: seamonkey-2.53.7.1.en-US.win64.installer.exe Publisher: Unknown publisher." What should I do? Just ignore and install? I see nothing about it in ConfigureDefender (High) log.
This notice seems to be about not being able to download to install. I had no issue with download. Just out of curiosity I checked VirusTotal - some obscure AV called Cylance flagged it, no other. But VT said Seamonkey is not signed which is the problem. I haven't found a place for the Smartscreen setting. Also, not sure how to deal with it all in ConfigureDefender if I wanted to. I will just ignore it all and install anyway. Update: New version is installed and everything is OK.

I'm on 2.53.8.1. I get a strange notice. It's unlike ones where it talks about invalid/expired certificates which you can override. It all worked fine a month ago and many months previous. The notice is hopeless. Can't go forward by any means. I tried changing TLS from 1.3 back to 1.2, deleted cookies etc. No effect. This is how it looks: Vivaldi did not give the error, but nothing works. It seems to have connected, so I looked at the certificate which is ok. I wonder if someone could help me here, I hope.

How about someone run this one thru Browser Audit. That will tell the story where they are at with it.
I updated to 2.53.9. Two problems: 1. What I reported in post #96 is still a problem. I contacted consumercellular. User's fault of course I'm supposed to use Edge or Chrome. Any ideas what I can do besides those impractical advices? 2. When I exit SeaMonkey I normally had a dialog about cleaning browser data. In this newest version it no longer alerts. My settings are ok, it's supposed to clean on exit couple items. I don't know if it does or not but tha absence of that dialog worries me. Do you all get that dialog or not? How do you know if cleaning happens or not?
