I've got a crazy idea, why doesn't M$ buy a third party AV company so that they can improve Win Defender even more? Or would the DOJ forbid such a move?

Shame Microsoft so far is refused to ramp up Windows Defender for Windows 7 and 8 since those user's really contributed to the huge massive popularity that Microsoft enjoys now more than any other versions IMO.
