They appeared on Google's servers, then I got them both. x64 Thu, 24 June 2021 18:21:20 UTC x86 Thu, 24 June 2021 18:06:20 UTC
I'm being told I'm up-to-date with 91.0.4472.114 too. Perhaps a very staggered roll-out or it's been pulled.
I finally got .124 by installing Chrome over-the-top. I do this periodically anyway, as I find it tends to keep Chrome fresh and peppy.
Hey Osaban, That could very well be the case! I have not had such an inability to update Chrome so far, so I will be paying close attention to this in the future. TY for your thoughts.
I'm on Windows 10 and still not getting it. On any of our seven Win 10 x64 machines. Maybe it's a location thing. I'm in NZ.
You would think that uninstalling Chrome and then installing it would be better than installing over the top. I have done this before without any problems.
My Chrome Stable still has not yet updated for my MBP11,3 running macOS Big Sur 11.4. Even an uninstall/re-install renders a build .114
I read that a DNS flush and IP release will help if Chrome is not updating on Mac or Windows. Disabling extensions prior to attempting an update might also help.
Hello @Page42 I thought your ideas in the above post are terrific. So I disabled all of Chrome 91 extensions, flushed DNS, and renewed the DHCP lease. Alas. A subsequent check for updates and even an over-the-top install did not bring on the .124 build. On my MacBook Pro system, Chrome Stable is my third choice browser so I am quite comfortable waiting for Chrome 92. Thank you for the help
Is there an Chrome Portable whatsoever? I refuse and always will to stay away from Portable Apps D/L's. Not preferred
Google is working on an HTTPS-Only Mode for Chrome June 30, 2021 https://therecord.media/google-is-working-on-an-https-only-mode-for-chrome/
Hello 1PW, Sorry I didn't see this sooner and took so long to respond. You are welcome for the help, even though the suggestions did not work for you. Chrome 92 Stable will be here in 12 days (July 20th). Something tells me you aren't missing much by not getting .124 to install. The only Changelog I could find says: Revert "Experiment in Stable: Enable BackupRefPtr" and that means very little if anything to me. Take care.
Chrome 94 will make sure you're connected to sites with HTTPS It will display a warning if it can't use the protocol. July 14, 2021 https://www.engadget.com/google-chrome-https-first-mode-170051682.html
