    Hello @Fire-Ant

As is amply pointed out within the above forum's thread, please consider the real possibility of Typosquatting, Cybersquatting or domain squatting.

In this particular case of the misspelled URL (e.g. torprojects.org), the popular browser extension uBlock Origin is a good defense.

Except it is not recommended to install extensions in TOR as it breaks anonymity.

    HiYa @Krusty

This old f@rt should have explained better and right you are. It was v1.36.0 uBlock Origin that catches the misspelled URL in my everyday v89.0.2 Firefox browser.

    Thank you!

It is good to know though for my use of uBO in Firefox.

    Thanks!

    Hi 1 PW,

The squatting is mentioned in the forum reactions.
The original poster on the Dutch forum probably made the typo when reporting.
The second link I mentioned is relating to torproject.org. I checked, and can confirm the problems with torproject.org.
Furthermore, one person claimes Avast Randsomeware Shield blocking the install of the 64bit version, he/she downloaded from torproject.org using the 32bit TOR.
