Actually Legitimate URL Shortener Tool List with its current 369 rules ( 22May2021v3-Beta) is actively developed as you can verify:

    https://github.com/DandelionSprout/adfilt/discussions/163

It is probably equal, if not higher, the Clear URLs extension (declares over 250 rules) last version 24/25 March.

    Is actually recommended by @gorhill.
I use this list for quite some time now.

Trust me, I'm not that smart. BTW, does anyone know how to block the annoying pop-up in the bottom of the screen, see link. I tried to remove it with the element picker, but I couldn't do it.

Try right-clicking on the popup and select block element then select create.
    Works for me.

    No popup here either.
@Rasheed187 Can you tell us what filters you are using?
Looks like you are missing one.

Nothing here as well. I'm using Medium mode blocking with a number of additional filters (My filters) included.

Guys, it pop ups after scrolling a bit in the bottom of the screen. I will now go watch the F1 race in Monaco (I think Verstappen has got a serious chance) but I will soon post a screenshot.

I couldn't block it via uBlock's element picker, and it shows up on other sites too like windowscentral.com and digitaltrends.com, but there is something strange going on because as soon as I disable uBlock and enable Vivaldi's ad-blocker, it disappears. So I'm not sure if it's some "adblocker detector'' and nothing is actually being displayed in this pop-up.

Try reinstall ublock origin and add good filters.

Time to reset uBO to the defaults, I guess?
    https://windowscentral.com and https://digitaltrends.com have no pop-ups here.

Then you can try adding extra filters one by one and see if nothing breaks.

No popups here on those sites. All five default uBlock filters are active, plus EasyList, EasyPrivacy, and uBlock Annoyances. :thumb:

Maybe you can try some of Dandelion Sprout's lists; the Banners and Overlays one has only 832 rules.

    Some "strange" stuff.

I have always been imposing that "DO NOT TRACK ME" button through the browser settings, and even through some extensions, but the test web-sites were telling me, "...though your software isn’t checking for Do Not Track policies."
I got tired and unchecked that button in the settings.
And my "score" at Cover Your Tracks improved.

"do not track me" is an option that websites/servers can obey, but are not forced to. I dont care because of uBo.

I have a website being blocked via the Phishing Domains Blocklist] filter that uses the following filter:
    Code:
     ||mein.gebuhrenfrei.com^]
What's the best way to override that block without turning off the filter list. This is a credit card site and I don't understand the reasoning behind the block.

If you're absolutely sure it's a false positive, then you could open an issue there.

Exception rule for putting in "My filters":
    Code:
    @@||mein.gebuhrenfrei.com^

Yes, it feels like some kind of conflict or corruption because I saw that somehow uBlock was blocking embedded content from Twitter and Instagram while I already made rules to allow them. It's best to reset uBlock and I don't know if Vivaldi's ad-blocker is also playing a role, but I don't think so.

    Thanks, will check it out.

    Just two questions.

I've visited the web-site, "cover your tracks" but uBlock did not react to any testing.
    Why?

    Cover.JPG

I've tried to update the uBlock filter list, but I could not.
    Why?

@zmechys uBlock probably updated it's filter lists recently. You can purge caches then click update button.
I don't know why uBlock do not react. Maybe other extension had a precedence over uBlock? Keep in mind that page takes you through a chain of websites and at loading phase there is genuinely nothing to block for a split of second, so you should look at counter the whole time and look at result table when tests finish.

Yes, I have Privacy Badger also. And it stopped 2 trackers at the Cover Your Tracks site. Maybe, that's is the answer.
If so, it would be interesting to know about the precedence of extensions - which ones reacts first and Why.

I have purged all uBlock caches but it did not help me with the full update of the filters.
