Wow, what is up with delays here? Well, there's always the Catalog, I guess but that's not quite so convenient. Not very patient of me, right? Maybe this one takes a day or more or several machine restarts.

Still haven't gotten the News and Interests thing on my Taskbar yet. I'm starting to feel like Microsoft has cast me to the wayside. :'( Actually, I don't but it IS kind of disconcerting. :doubt: Ironically, I read where many have received it and most have disabled it.

Truth! Literally no reason whats so ever to get this. Zero benefit and can only "maybe" cause problems. Some people just have nothing else better to do I guess.

I've just upgraded my Win 10 home edition to version 21H1, it took less than a minute and everything seems to be okay (touch wood). The problems I have experienced in the beta channel (blue screen coming out of hibernation or sleep) are gone. I would advise people who have Shadow Defender to uninstall it before the upgrade. When I re-installed Win 10 version 20H2 to get rid of the beta channel, the installer wouldn't proceed unless SD was uninstalled...

21H1 was waiting on my old laptop but even after manually checking for updates on my newer desktop PC it isn't offered.

21H1 installed just in a flash. No complaints if this happen with all future features updates. :)

As usually, they're deploying this update gradually. I'm curious though what are the decisive factors for such deferred deployment - motherboard, processor, graphics, Win language or ...? Perhaps a mixture of all.

    As per the article =
"After being retired on June 15, 2022,"

Internet Explorer 11 will be retired in June 2022 for most Windows 10 versions

Has anyone seen an explanation of how this change will bear on the old IE Favorites folder? I haven't used IE for years, but do periodically export bookmarks into that folder because I find having bookmarks available from the menu very convenient.

I like that enablement package method. It was like flicking a switch.

Upgraded to 21H1 today from an ISO. After cleaning up, I gained 2 GB of Free Space in the OS partition (compared with pre upgrade). Upgrading from Windows Update doesn't seem to provide a Free Space gain.

There must be a way to clean it up, perhaps you just don't know how?
