    Exacly its kinda like restore backup every boot.
    SD protect you by permanent modification but not secue your date during current sesion...

    That why i use Sandboxie or VMware for isolate soft/data during current sesion peoples calling/saying me no need Sandboxie when i have Shadow Defender only prove me they dont have clue how it's work.
    So if you use SD you can drop AV bc scanning system 1 on week its a lot time when your system can be robed.. so bettter is SD than AV.

    But yea Shadow Defender its not software which is on 1st layer security
    1st layer is Protection and Restriction and here comes HIPS/SRP/Hardering/Firewall
    2nd its Isolation if somehow bypass your security you can limit access infection to specific zone to make unable to steal your data.
    3rd AV never find all viruses and your system can be infected even whole half year before some technic IT will find virus and write clean tool for virus ad to database in av vendor . and here comes Shadow DEfender which back your system to virgin status every boot to make sure your workstation its clean.

    And if virus screw all your layer 1 & 2 better have infection in one sesion instead of all bc can steal more data than normaly...

    I'm just saying that the main purpose of SpyShelter isn't to protect against ransomware. It's of course possible that it might interfere with ransomware, and that it will block access to protected folders. But it doesn't actually try to stop the file system activity, there are better solutions for that like AppCheck and HMPA.

    BTW, I'm afraid I have found a problem with keystroke encryption when SS is combined with Sandboxie on my Win 8.1 system, I still need to test it on Win 10. I feel a bit dumb because I wonder how I didn't notice this problem sooner. Seems like SS can't scramble keystrokes from Vivaldi when it's runnning sandboxed, I still need to test other browsers. I also believe that in the past this did seem to work. You can test it with this tool:

    Well, seems like GhostPress and KeyScrambler also can't block keylogging when browsers run sandboxed! So for now I have dropped Sandboxie as a realtime protection tool for browsers, of course I still use it on demand for app virtualization. BTW, KeyScrambler worked just fine on my Win 10 1909 machine, of course I did disable keystroke encyption in SS to avoid any conflicts.

    Has there been any update to this? I still cannot use Firefox with keystroke encryption if it's sandboxed with Sandboxie?

    I have reported it multiple times to David Xanatos, the developer of Sandboxie Plus, but seems it hasn't been fixed yet. I have tested it with a sandboxed Edge and the AKLT tool and SpyShelter couldn't encrypt keystrokes correctly when the ''low level keyboard hook'' method was used.

    Salutations/Greetings,

    Topic: SpyShelter and Sandboxie Plus

    * Are there any conflicts with Malwarebytes, Hitman Pro:0)?
    * Or it best just to use an online scanner, maybe one week:) ?

    * Will Spyshelter Firewall. work with another Anti-viruses without conflicts:)?

    * Additionally, are there any conflicts between Shadow Defender, Sandboxie Plus
    and Spyshelter Firewall?

    P.S. Does Spyshelter have Family Plan and/or Family Pack for all the members in one household. Or where can one get a lifetime lic., key?

    Many thanks for thoughts and answers. ......ect.

    Yeah, I am still not able to use SpyShelter's keystroke encryption in conjunction with Sandboxie. All the test comes out garbled. It has been a long time and there's still no fix for this, is there? Has anyone gotten that configuration to work?

    Isn't that the job of the software engineer; to care about incompatibilities? I mean, that's the whole point of Microsoft's Patch Tuesday. I know that's not exactly the same thing, and that these apps are developed by small teams or a singular person. Still, my point remains.

    Except that that small minority are actually the ones to know what they're talking about, unlike the vast majority. Listening to those that know actually will improve their software. But, you can continue to be bitter and rude towards me if you want. Being crippled, I'm used to it.

    Salutations and Greetings,

    The biggest things is Shadow Defender has not been updated. For a very long time...
    Also, Sandboxie keep disappointing me. Maybe it time for me to look for alternatives. I have let down way to many times. Hoping that things would change. I am just sad and not seeing things change.

    If sandboxie constantly disappoints you, I suspect there is a configuration error. With no examples, and no evident to the contrary, by default I suspect user error. What issue(s) are you having? Perhaps I can help.

    Salutations and Greetings,

    Evident/Errors:

    Here is what I am getting, after updating to the version below: Also, I am using Microsoft Edge:

    Do you want to allow msedge.exe (8329) to copy a 115.38 MB large file into sandbox: Default Box?
    File name:C:\micha\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\ExtensionActivityEdge?

    I click yes and take a couple of minutes.
    Sometime the browser, will not open.

    Yes! I was running, Microsoft Edge, Sync :) but, now I have turn everything off as suggested.

    My browsers are as following:
    * Brave
    * Microsoft Edge
    * Avast Secure Browser
    Each one of the browser is only for certain things/topics, etc.

    I really appreciate any suggestions.

    P.S. Shadow Defender is take way to long to load windows. Umm!

    Many thanks, and always the best, also, make it a great one, that is this evening.

    Are you running Avast One and Malwarebytes Premium and SpyShelter?

    That won't solve anything. What's the point of excluding the only apps that would warrant keystroke encryption in the first place?

    well your post said
    "I am still not able to use SpyShelter's keystroke encryption in conjunction with Sandboxie"

    so your options, are dont use SS keystroke encryption, or dont use sandboxie.

    Or, option number #3, I ditch SpyShelter. I would never give up Sandboxie.
