I didn't think I would like it but I now have the beta on all of my PCs.

I like it. I feel it is more modern and the UI is more consistent within itself rather than a bunch of mismatched menus and popups.

Mozilla's browser updates are a joke.... you need 15 BETAs before you update one version of a browser? :cautious: Only to release yet another buggy version with more telemetry and destroy the UI more with useless crap like snippets/highlights, telemetry, then next day, release a .01 version of that 15 version BETA

No, the 89 you received is a RC (Release Candidate), not stable released yet! I never check for updates after the last BETA because of the RC push. Make sure you're still on the Beta channel.

Thanks I may do that. Have you ever tried the Developer builds? I assume they are updated weekly?

No, between the Betas and Stable versions, it's everything I need to check Web designs. Did try Nightly versions once, but too flaky for my taste.

If you get the 89 RC from the updater on the beta channel you stay on the beta channel. If you download the exact same file and install it by running the setup it puts you back on the release channel with the exact same build.

If you're on the beta channel when this goes final you will get the 90 beta instead. If you want the keep the 89 final I suggest pulling the installer from their FTP and installing that over the top now. And if the 90 beta gets installed since they no longer allow downgrades without blowing out your profile you'll have to create a new profile or stick with the 90 beta until it goes final if that happens.
