Weird, a check for updates shows I am up to date on all my machines, yet I am on 3.0.12. Has it been pulled?

Did you check the details button? If I go to file properties and digital signatures, it shows both a SHA1 and SHA256 signature and everything looks fine, but once you check the details it is not. I redownloaded the installer and it was still the same.

Signature was missing for me on the 7z 64-bit version too. I'll wait until the next update.

Do they have a portable version (apart from the one you can get from portableapps.com)?

I couldn't upgrade from within the program. It would download but when I clicked 'Install' nothing happened.

Yes: I use it. If you go to https://download.videolan.org/videolan/vlc/3.0.14/ then choose win32 or win64, as appropriate, the files ending with .7z or .zip are the freestanding portable versions. Unzipped, they're the same, but the 7z is compressed much smaller for a faster download. Index of -videolan-vlc-3.0.14-win64- 2021-05-10.png

Do you have a reason for not wanting the 3.14 version from portableapps?
    Just curios....

@SouthPark Thanks a bunch for the link. Much appreciated.:thumb:

@Adric I don't usually get software from third-party sites. Only if a vendor doesn't offer a portable version, portableapps.com is my go-to site.
