I am starting to not dislike Microsoft Edge

What's happening? I'm not being grumpy! What's next, helicopters flying on Mars? Here's a review of Microsoft Edge, A Chromium-based browser, tested on Linux as my potential secondary browser, covering installation and setup, New Tab page layout, settings and configurations, telemetry, privacy tweaks, ease of use, address bar and URLs, HD desktop scaling, media playback, camera/microphone usage, performance, extensions, browser data input, various annoyances, and more. Take a look.

Just put about:blank into address bar and go to it. Then drag it to your favourites/bookmarks bar.
Then when you want a new blank page just middle click on the about:blank favicon..

True. I just thought that a one click workaround that you didn't have to use a 3rd party for was worthy of note.

I have searched up and down and all around and can't find THE FIX.

Can anyone find a way to do away with the Bing "search the web" bar?

Oh poo, I remembered Vivaldi and Opera let you do that, not Edge. Dang! It's so disfiguring to the Home Page, isn't it? Like a big scar. Might send some Feedback to Microsoft, it's so NOT wanted. :thumbd: Just going thru life with only one extension at the moment so thanks for the tip.

    Hi @mood
Curious, why point to Microsoft Edge for business download.
Why not also point to https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=Edge
What's difference between Edge for business vs Edge for home?
    Thanks

Q - What is the difference between Microsoft edge and edge for business?

A- The difference between the two websites is that the business site gives you more granular control on which version of each branch to download, template policy files, and links to admin related info. They are not actually titled any differently either.

Microsoft Edge for business (download) is the exact same browser as Microsoft Edge installed on my home machine?
What's GET POLICY FILES? > Download Microsoft Edge Policy File?
Do I have discrete Policy Files with Microsoft Edge installed on my home machine?
