Very easy, use a good uninstaller app to get rid of all the bloat.

I have tried them all including Revo Uninstaller Pro which I own a license. HiBit Uninstaller is the best, it has 0 false positives and is very safe in cleaning the registry leftovers. It also has a Windows Store App Manager where you can select multiple Windows Store apps together and get rid of them in one shot AND then gets rid of the thousands of registry and file remnants they leave behind.

No he means this: Windows 10 Clean Install Guide = http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/windows-10-clean-installation-guide.781178/

But I would do that, you would then have to go through the headache of installing all the drivers and utilities and half the bloatware anyway comes from Windows itself like all those crappy games and apps, Cortana, Telemetry, etc.

So do yourself a favor just use HiBit Uninstaller to get rid of all the bloatware from HP, it will remove all the leftovers

I think that installing the drivers is easy enough, windows already installs drivers (although usually not the latest versions), then u just have to go ur laptop's official page and find the latest drivers for ur model. U can also try DuMo https://kcsoftwares.com/?dumo . I think reinstalling is by far the fastest way to remove all the crap. But if ure lazy like @Spartan, sure go with his way. U only have to do it once when u buy the laptop, and it doesn't take more than a few hours till you're ready to use it. In fact I can even share with u my bat with optimizations, although it might break some things for u... But it will speed up the process.

Yeah use some 3rd party app and have it install generic drivers that are not meant for the laptop. Been there, tried that, they wreak havoc. Now THAT is the lazy way to use such tools or rely on Windows update to install generic drivers. :cautious::rolleyes:

Or assuming ur laptop is not some cheap ****, just go to the manufacter page, find ur model, download the drivers (even if not newest) and get em working. Boom easy. Then if u wanna find the newest ones, u can spend extra effort for that. It's not very hard really. Not more than a few hours at most, or a tad more.

Install a fresh windows 10 that fit your license key with the MCT = media creation tool.

there is nothing you can do to remove all trails from unwanted software, this need a lot of experience and any "cleaner" cant do this, its just a stupid software created by men and knwoledge of men is very limited in comparison to developers of windows.
at least you also disable the fast rewind patches, eg. the latest gamepatch against less performance. you probably will get that un-patch with the next regular update (each 2nd tuesday in month), but that could mean much too late. in case of you new computer i suggest you to leave it turned on, new hardware can cause issues and w/o telemetry you never will get it resolved because MS dont know about.

in case of spybot - lol useless crap it ever was. any other antivirus than windows defender will cause trouble sooner than later. and spybot has some extra "features" which block a lot of more functionality within windows.

anyhow spybot is complete futile because of defender, it has absolutely no gain, whatever you read.

this feature gets killed without telemetry
    working since Win10 2004.
there exist no legal way for custom users. it is much more cheaper to buy a ntlite license and reduce a Pro build although it need some trialing time.

current LTSC is build 1809, has EOL in 2024, next major update may happen end of 2021 (H2), no fixed date. nevertheless "1809" it has all current features of security as 20H1 and 20H2 (21H1 to come). all antivirus are using the same signature database, all have a result greater than 99% detection, all have anti-exploit, all have anti-ransomware, all have cloud detection. the rest is based on general windows security - any other antivirus will break this security with its kernel drivers, almost all of them have or had serious vulnerabilities.

i probably will never understand why people ask for more security while lowering it instead with such tools with absolutely no gain while they never gave it a try. some people think that a security software need a lot of feature switches to seem big and rich, fail. In case if this you should try "ConfigureDefender"
    https://github.com/AndyFul/ConfigureDefender
    Or NVT SysHardener.
    https://www.novirusthanks.org/

those are simple and revertible tools while other antivirus are very intrusive to several to most programs you did no expect. if you did not experience any trouble you probably only surf the web and some docs, but no more.

    i will be disabling defender

"i probably will never understand why people ask for more security while lowering it" i didn't ask for more security. I only asked about removing the trials. I want the computer to be minimalist as i will use it travelling
