I have been using it even during the Prevx days and continue to do so. Just to let everyone know the current release is v9.0.30.75 but there is no release notes.

To download the latest in case you don't have it and just install over top: https://anywhere.webrootcloudav.com/zerol/wsainstall.exe

Webroot has improved detection and prevention significantly in the past year, so I gave it another shot. Not disappointed.

That's good to know! Is the Foreign Code Shield in a beta currently, or is it slowly being pushed out?

Do you have 6 Webroot Processes? These two are part of the Foreign Code Shield so not sure if it's pushed out to everyone?

Aren't you like 12 in 5th grade? And then a few years later at 22 he sold it? Hmm

That said he's handsome, so I can see why u like him

Jokes aside, I have no idea about anything lol. But i'm always open to try new stuff. Even if it's an AV. Not permanently ofc.

I am again using WRSE Antivirus. Some of TH's recent posts lured me back into the flock. :-*

One minor issue ---- On WRSE's home page I put slide switches "On" for both Firewall & Web Shield. On Advanced Settings page, I check-marked all Web Shield boxes. One of the checked boxes is labelled "Show safety ratings when using search engines." Webroot's website's "how-to-updates" portal for Firewall/Web Shield states...
I use DuckDuckGo (DDG) search engine. After 2 days of using WRSE & making several searches using DDG, I haven't seen that WRSE is showing any safety ratings.

QUESTION: Have I overlooked some necessary additional setting or what, I wonder?

P.S. I know how to contact Webroot support. However, I'm hoping to get an answer here because it's easier to ask questions with folks I know.

It only supports Google, Bing and Yahoo search engines the last I heard. But try to go to a Bad website using DuckDuckGo and I will check as well and the Web Filter Driver should kick in and block the bad page and it does!

Maybe because, despite what the naysayers say, it works??

@bellgamin, I've found, after playing with various different Advanced Settings over many, many years, for the majority of users Webroot works best with the default settings automatically generated when installed — which are customised to the individual device and its users' habits. My 2 cents...
