Luckily I'm not using any of these apps, but still a good reminder.

Sure, doesn't matter as long as you you pay attention to updating.
That's if they are fixed in a timely manner.
Still, doesn't hurt to put the word out on things.

 

I agree, it's good to know, but most of the time when you read an alarming article like this one it's already patched if you keep up with the updates.

 

I'm using VLC Player, waiting for update to be released.
