Of course, you are right, thanks.
    Done the same for cookielaw.org.
cookielaw.org and privacymanager.io are often used on Dutch websites.

So true. I visit domains using those. But there exists exceptions, e.g. spiegel . de uses its own server
    Code:
    sams.spiegel.de
Has to be set to allow to pass the cookie consent dialog. But don't allow inline scripts on spiegel .de because it will insert ads on top and right.

    you are welcome.

UBO Legacy has the same functions as UBO.
It is not OT in this thread, only your wrong conclusions are OT.

New Moon differs from Pale Moon in 2 fundamental aspects but it is useless to explain it to you since you claim that Pale Moon is identical (and it is not so) to Firefox 52.9.0. and does not receive updates since 2018.

wikipedia (germany) told me that New Moon has been stuck in 2018.
    https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pale_Moon
seems not correct and somehow unclear? page (Eclipse Community) do not belong to Moonchild?

for ublock i know about nevertheless the updates a very rare compared to the webextension and i am not sure if they are comparable in functionality.

    English Wikipedia says something different:
Note though, that Wikipedia is not always a reliable source of information...
The legacy version may lack some of the new features, but works well enough, especially in conjunction with eMatrix (fork of uMatrix).
No, that's a place where roytam1 posts his updates (didn't even know that one existed; I always check out at msfn.org).

Also note, that Windows XP is not my main OS. It's more a hobby project, haha (virtual machine).
Linux Mint is my main driver.

thank you for explaning. idd wikipedia is not perfect nor complete, my pal told me ages ago that it is a good start for investigations and now this damn again. for xp - i also own a very old computer, around 20 years old and i can count its start per year with one hand or less, meanwhile the hardware is going down. i remember a rather old firefox installed. never mind.

But where to add this? With old versions of uBlock you could simply allow scripts to run via the GUI, but this isn't possible anymore. I still think it's a bad decision. The only way to allow third party embedded content from Instagram and Twitter is to disable uBlock and install Ghostery which doesn't block this stuff.

I have just read that AdGuard has published a list of thousands of domains used in first party cookie tracking. I hope this list can be added to uBlock?

    https://github.com/AdguardTeam/cname-trackers

BTW, I was thinking about this, and it since it removes those cookie warnings, it won't give you a chance to accept these third party cookies, so they are never loaded. So in a way it does block them indirectly.

You should add this in my filters, but the better solution from @Brummelchen is adding * privacymanager.io * allow in my rules.
In my rules you still can allow stuff.

Adguard Base is based on EasyList with about 25% fewer rules.
So you have to choose one.

If it is your only anti-trackers list it is not enough.:)
With my UBO Legacy I use 3 anti-trackers lists.

I am on this shopping site and my KSCloud chrome extension shows that it blocked 125 attempts to collect data. My UBO icon shows only 19 blocks.

“The AdGuard Base list in uBO is *complementary* to EasyList, it is not a replacement to EasyList.”

Personally, I’m currently using the custom list ‘Adguard Base filter + EasyList (Optimized)’

AdGuard DNS filter list in uBO.

    17,876 used out of 37,914
Don't use any other AdGuard filters, nor EasyList or EasyPrivacy filter lists.
All other enabled lists are very close in amount of numbers used and the total number.

Why such a big difference? (20,038 difference)
