I just installed KB5001028 and now I no longer see the last time and date I checked for updates. Is anyone else seeing this?

Thanks, Anon. I installed CU 4601319 without any problems on 20H2.

Wat, probably a coincidence on this end but when I installed the latest WD definitions it also updated the client and, for the first time that I've noticed, deleted the date/time of the last scan.

My main laptop is a ThinkPad L530, which is about the same age as yours. I need to update my signature. I'm still running 1909 on it, as I have not been offered a more recent build in Windows Update as yet.

I also had this install and it did something good... it removed Adobe Flash Player from the Control Panel after a reboot. I then removed all other remnants from the various folders of all Adobe and Macromedia items that I found were still left behind... also did a quick registry clean of same... nice update.

Yes I see what happened now... the KB4577586 was also installed at the same time yesterday as the KB4023057. I just checked my update history and can see the Flash Player one is listed down the bottom of the page in Other Updates so I didn't notice before that it was there. The good thing is that the Flash Player has gone now as I never used it and with it being discontinued it's nice to see it removed.

I got rid of that thing when I first got it a couple of years ago, and got rid of it again a few days ago, immediately after it installed. I know its going to come back. Last time, I hided the update with the WU Show Hide tool and will do it again this time when it attempts to install back. The last couple of days I been on the lookout for the thing but it hasnt show up. I think its waiting for me to get distracted. :)

When I go to Win 10 Settings I could swear that the banner accross the top (Rewards,One Drive etc) is getting wider:(

JFYI, it was a pretty fast and trouble free installation of this optional preview update KB4601382.

Yes, by about an inch or so. No One Drive on here so there's this empty space that persists when resizing Settings.

Why can't they re-arrange the lineup of stuff in Settings so that Windows Update is near or at the top--esp. if you have Settings sized as oblong (Update is at the bottom and cut off on a smaller screen)? Frankly, I'm not hitting Phone, Accounts or Time and Language every day. Or at least make this user-configurable. And devise a location for Rewards and Web browsing outside of the top. I'm sure the 1 or two people using those wouldn't mind. :)

    edited to add something

Yesterdays updates were previews and as always, on Patch Tuesday newer cumulative updates will be release. They will include the fixes in the preview updates plus any new bug fixes and security patches.

Simple answer, yes you will get new updates on Patch Tuesday.
