"Intel's Control-flow Enforcement Technology (CET) is a hardware security feature initially introduced in 2016 and added to Intel's 11th generation CPUs in 2020."

This generation will come to market in the first quarter of 2021.

Yes, I see that the Lenovo laptop that I bought has a Intel's 10th generation CPU, what a bummer. But my new desktop that I'm planning to buy, will have this feature.

AMD's Zen 3 has CET as well.
