Zips are plain zips for me. I still use WinZip but use more often 7-Zip nestled on the right mouse click context menu and it unloads in a fresh new folder on the desktop just fine.

    Used to use PeaZip

I've never used it. What makes it better than the alternatives?

I don't know if it's just me, but I've checked out quite a lot of ZIP tools and I noticed they all make it quite complex. I just need a simple tool that quickly unzips all of the files to a folder that you can easily find on let's say the desktop. With other tools I often have to look for the files, but not with ExtractNow. Check it out yourself, I'm sure you will like it.

Since when is this the most important criteria, to me it doesn't really matter as long as it does the job. :thumb:

I used to use ExtractNow and liked it a lot. However, it has not been updated for a few years and it will not work with my NAS drives which is where I extract my files to.

With 360 Zip, I just right click on a file and select "extract to the current folder." It extracts the contents of the archive to a new folder with the name of the archive.

Yes, it's the most simple unzipping tool ever. Perhaps you can ask the developer to fix the problem with NAS drives? On the other hand, you can always copy those files after unzipping to a local drive I guess.

Never heard of 360 ZIP, also couldn't find it via Google. But yes, sounds like a handy feature. BTW, with ExtractNow you can also unzip multiple files at once.

You can do the same (and also extract multiple files at once) with pretty much any archiver, e.g. WinRAR, 7-Zip, Bandizip and many others.

Yes, why to use Windows 10 as long as Windows 95 does the job too..... :thumb:

OK cool. BTW, I have checked out the newest BandiZip and I tried to unzip 2 files at once, SafeInCloud was correctly unzipped into its own folder, but KeePass wasn't. It's this stuff that annoys me.

I'm sorry but this is a poor comparison, you can't compare apps with an OS.

I've probably said this before but this might have been ok as a free app. As a paid one there are just too many better ones.
