    I am just curious. Are you saying, that I can install the ISO, and then delete it [without the need to create installation media] ?

    Edit: Oops, I see you already answered that above. I am doing too much at once. Talking on the phone, etc. ;)

    VS blocks powershell.exe-executionpolicy restricted-command write-host final result: 1 parent process: c:\windows\system32\compattel runner.exe i tried to post on VS forum but could not log in. i googled this but it's way above my pay grade. i just let VS auto block this. could someone please pass this on to Dan. thanks has anyone seen this and know what it is? win10 1909 VS 6.0 free. i'm not seeing this on win7.

    Yep, I can understand his reasons, but I hope it stays open.
    Discussions of VS here or at MalwareTips always resulted in tears etc.
    We still need a place to discuss.
    I believe that discussion has more value than individual emails.

    ~ Removed VirusTotal Results Image as per Policy ~

    The amount of time that VS labels files as susious or unsafe for me when they just seems to lack a signature is driving me crazy :D
    How does it help me when lots of files are not labeled as safe by vs ai/wlc and I always have to get a second opinion from VT or Opswat and so on. Only to find out they are safe 95++% of the time? Together with the not working report fp feature I think I will take a break from it.

    I took a break from VS a couple of years ago for the reasons you mentioned in your post (and also for some other VS-related reasons). My VS break isn't over yet, and I'm pretty sure it will be a never-ending VS break.:)
