    Thanks for your help!
I reinstalled the image taken before install (but have saved the uninstaller link just in case), downloaded again CF and this time the Killswitch install went just fine.

If I may, a question: in your vid (Comodo Firewall- The Cruelsister Variation) at 3m25s after Killswitch install, you open the Network and System tabs but don't seem to be doing anything. Am I missing something, or is it just to check that everything is fine?

Not a fan of Comodo firewall... it does not detect applications like OSS/Sygate had. It often times allows third-party applications pass through without your knowledge.

Sygate was a great firewall. Symantec got it for their security software. Not sure how much is left, but Endpoint firewall rules are similar.

Taking a completely neutral and unbiased approach to CFW free several months ago, I have found no serious concerns with it whatsoever.

whats the best light weight Comodo version for windows 10? Comodo 10 or Comodo 12 ? I notice with Comodo vs 10 doesn't give you the option of not installing the virus component. it forces you to install the anti virus component

Is there a text version of cruelsister's rules for CFW out there? I have ADHD and I find instructional videos are a little hard to follow with much confidence that I am getting them right. With a text It would be much easier for me to go over and check the steps I have made.

I should have added that under no circumstances should the Script Analysis function of CF (enabled by default) be disabled. If it is even my cat (no offense, Ophelia) could breach CF.

Would you recommend a password for Comodo?

If one has riff-raff such as children or foolish friends using your system, then yes- by all means as this will prevent settings from being changed. Further, one can also enable silent mode so there would be no alerts, just malware slaughter.

I been keenly aware of Comodo containment in versions earlier and script analysis feature. As such I don't speculate but curious @cruelsister on how effective WMI + Powershell (also sections malware is proved to seat command in them both as a workaround doorway to assign a rogue persistence entry code to bypass detections. Does Comdo contain them as well?
