Is anyone running Insiders in the Beta Channel? We got KB4586853 Cumulative Update Preview today. Winver is 19042.662. Clicking the link under the update in Settings gets me a 404 right now, thanks Microsoft. :cautious:

Although everything went thru in under 4 min., it claimed 4GB of cleanup, even though my space free claimed only 2 GB. Hopefully the changelog comes soon, I'm curious to see what got installed.

Same here @plat1098 except for cleanup which was only about 20 MB, no problems so far, I was expecting a lot of bugs and instability joining the beta channel, but it actually has been pretty straight forward.

I noticed that KB4586853 caused reconfiguration of almost all apps on my machine. More than 170 entries of such reconfiguration were recorded in the reliability monitoring.

KB4586853 looks like a Dec update preview, so will it be included in the Dec Patch Tuesday Updates.

Well for the Beta channel, KB4586853 was installed on here 11/23/2020 without incident.

The 19042.662 is proving to be as stable as release 20H2 was. I don't have a lot of software installed on here, but that was the case for 20H1 also (2004) and there wasn't a clean stretch ever. Terrible.

As concerns the stability it's OK, no issues spotted. Only the reconfiguration takes place everyday but without any negative impact on the system itself or on the reconfigured apps. In fact if I wasn't used to checking the reliability monitoring I wouldn't even know that the reconfiguration has been happening. However it never happened on my system in the past. It was triggered by KB4586853.
