When I download a PDF file and select that it be opened for viewing in Adobe Acrobat DC, nothing happens. This works fine when Firefox is not Sandboxed. I’ve checked the setting in SB and it’s set to allow Adobe Acrobat Pro DC to run.

    How do I fix this?

    Thanks.

    I have W10, FF 83.0 and SB 5.31.6

Please Upgrade to 5.33.6 or later.

for the test you could lower the sandbox level in firefox prefs

    security.sandbox.content.level (default = 6)

this is vital for plugins and/or sound in some cases. but be aware that this will limit firefox security in general. you should switch to download then open pdf files in external viewer instead. security or convenience, you cant have both.

I couldn't get it to install so I uninstalled the previous one and that wouldn't completely uninstall. Now I've got files left over and something embedded that I was re commended not to delete manually or something like that.

How do I get that embedded driver off (at least, that's what I guess it is).

What is the ''embedded'' driver called?
What does it say or do when you try to uninstall it?
