Agreed. It is definitely more stable than 2004.

Oh, cool! Is the ISO readily available as yet, or just wait?

For a visual idea of 20H2 that I've been enjoying (for a 9-day stretch), here's a snip. That's not to say there were no errors/warnings at all; there were. Still ESENT id 642 warnings, a few at every start/restart but seemingly no effect on system.

I just hope nothing gets lost in the translation once this goes "release."

The upgrade on my machine was fast and flawless, it didn't seem to be a big change. I don't know about the ISO, but see if patch Tuesday offers it...

In a few hours. Still gonna stick to my Enterprise LTSC 1809 though. It blows the newer builds out of the water when it comes to performance and snappiness.

Is it really dropping today? Wow.

I hear you on LTSC. I have not gotten around to installing it yet however.

Yes, a few hours and it will be live. Offers me nothing I'm interested in other than more bloat and telemetry and Cortana.

If you have access to Enterprise licenses that may be the way to go. If not I have found 20H2 to be the best Windows 10 so far. At least for me.

I did not hear anything from MS about it being released today.

Looks like MS is having issues, it's been delayed.

The official ISO was supposed to be available at this link:

Krusty, if you join the insider channel (which is a matter of minutes) you'll get the upgrade straight away. There are three levels in the insider program: Developers, beta channel (recommended by MS), and preview. I have been with the beta channel for ages without any problems whatsoever. If you don't like it for any reasons, it is easy to opt out of it.

Thing is though, I'm happy to sign into Windows with a local account. Not keen on signing into M$ each session.

I enabled .net framework in W10 and then it wanted to download something. After download i noticed high CPU for .net framework optimization for a minute. I then looked in installed programs and don't see .net installed like it showed in Win7 installed programs. I read that in W10 it comes pre installed so i guess it does not show in installed programs.
