I have my doubts as well.
The number of domains remains almost the same for a long time now, so I suspect there is not much activity over there...

While on the other hand, the phishing.army list changes daily.

Raymond should consider replacing Spam404 with PA.

uBo must provide internal defense against phishing as well.
    PA is enough.
Already replacing the Spam404 would be a significant defensive increase.
Users would then be able to decide on their own whether to replace the basic list with the extended one

Wait, didn't you say Spam404 was OK if running Windows 10 (if NOT running a DNS service with a built-in blocklist)?

If one is running latest Windows 10 and had to make a choice, what would it be? Phishing Army or Spam404?

By the way, someone I follow on Twitter also follows Spam404. I wonder if that's the creator of this blocklist?

twitter.com/Spam404 edit: can one link to a Twitter page? If not, sorry, I won't in the future.

    ;)

You asked for an answer for 2 predefined lists.
    PA is a custom list.

P.S. I would not like to get the message across that PA is better because Andrea Draghetti is Italian like me

Oh, I see. OK, well, I'll look into it further, then, and see what's what. Inclined more toward one or the other, not both.
    This is totally understandable. :)

In general: someone was wondering about getting rid of some YouTube ads that were happening all of a sudden, even with uBlock Origin installed. For some, the AdGuard Tracking Protection under Privacy does remove the mechanism. I just found that it doesn't remove it every time--some videos still show it. (Google is getting a little aggressive, right?)

OK, well who knows what goes on behind the scenes, but regardless, Spam404 is off for now; Phishing Army (regular list) is on. All the entries are in use, very good!

Hopefully the author of uBlock Origin will become aware of any developments regarding this blocklist.

    Interesting read:
First party tracking list still necessary in Chrome?

    Yeah...
I was just blindly quoting Yuki2718.
Made a comment about it there.
    Thanks. :thumb:

That's right there are 2 rules in the whole list:

    Code:
    /id?d_visid_
    Code:
    /id?d_visid_ver=$~xmlhttprequest
If in doubt it is good to insert both of them, don't you think?

P.S. In fact, I wonder the reason for 2 rules inserted in EP when Yuki states that it is a duplicate.
Instead there is only one rule:

    Code:
    /b/ss/*&aqe=

It has somehow improved a bit, I now don't need to skip ads anymore and videos seem to autoplay. But I still get to see the "login to YouTube" pop-up, but luckily only once. I will check out Brave to see how it handles it, but I wish Vivaldi and Brave would merge to get the best of both worlds.

Thanks, but I hate both the old and new look, I never liked Reddit.

    I deleted the rule below:

    Code:
    /b/ss/*&aqe=
from "My Filters" because it is not used.
It is evidently on some other list I use.
    The other two are used.

    P.S.

But with the same filter lists the rule is used with UBO for Chrome.
    I wrote to Just Off.

All these 3 rules are present in Easy Privacy.

I believe Adguard tracking list is made to complement Easyprivacy. Perhaps Fanboy is the same

the mvps hosts file has been set to "0 of x" here lately, some other list replaced it (dont know which one)

The fanboy annoyance list is less used here (13.992 of 55.931). Adguard also has a replacement for EasyList, you can read all here
    https://kb.adguard.com/en/general/adguard-ad-filters
Same for the "easyList <country>" which have a sequel from adguard.

That Adguard base filter is not the same that is by default in uBlock

    Hmm...

Maybe try unchecking the default and import this (mirror) into your custom lists?:
