    Yes I remember this tool from the past, and good to see it's still alive and kicking. Personally I have switched to webmail years ago, so I don't see the need for it, buut may come in handy for others. On the other hand, Yahoo Mail Basic doesn't always work correctly on my system, so perhaps I should give Pop Peeper a try.

    If any member of W. has problems with the list of languages they can refer to the procedure at the following link:

    https://www.esumsoft.com/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7478

    P.S. I have disabled WOT.

    @Rasheed187

    WebMail is inconvenient if you have multiple email accounts.

    I use the Pro version of PopPeeper -- have done so for years. I have 12 domains and 28 email accounts. The Peeper makes it supremely easy to manage & check all of them. It also provides good security with options to download only headers & receive in plain text only (which I do) and, thereafter, easy acquisition of desired full messages, conversion to rich text, HTML etc. Easily view message source. Has a powerful spam killer. A spell checker. I get a LOT of messages every day. The Peeper lets me sift through them quickly -- a batch of over 100 messages can be scanned -- to separate wheat from chaff -- in less than 1 minute.

    I was going to say "people still use POP?" but I see it also supports IMAP so I may actually give this a look.

    I don't know but I doubt it. Why? Because An XPI file is a compressed installation archive used only by various Mozilla applications, including Firefox, Thunderbird, and SeaMonkey. It isn't even a Windows file type.

    I suggest you ask this question at PopPeeper's website. The developer's are very friendly & helpful. They might even modify the Peeper to handle .xpi files, if it doesn't handle them already.

    It's just a renamed .zip file. If you change the extension to .zip you can use any unzip utility to extract the contents.

    Yes, good point.

    Thanks, I forgot about this app. But a question that comes to mind is, what about security risks when using these kind of tools?

    It now has a tacky cheap advert unless you buy the pro.in my opinion it is not freeware anymore and i am uninstalling it.Looking at poptrayu to replace.

    On principle of i am not going to be forced to buy the pro. I think all these authors give their programs free to get the users to give feedback re bugs. then charge for them.the user is not a recipient of free software as much as an unpaid tester. I am disgusted at this cheap tacky ad on the PP GUI

    It takes great skill and multiple hundreds of hours to develop & maintain an advanced software app such as PopPeeper. For some folks, developing software is a means for earning a living. Newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, roadside sign boards, "free" antivirus apps, etc. -- all advertise so that people can earn a livelihood. IMO, the 1-man developer of Pop Peeper is worthy of his wages. 1 Tim 5:18

    +1 to what bellgamin said. Poppeeper is definitely worth the price! It's very valuable to me,. and the only app of its kind that I can find for a daily driver.

    i am not going to argue. to me it is adware now. And i will not have it on my pc. He could have sent an email to promote it rather than tacky advert on the GUI

    Does anyone use PopPeeper and Sandboxie together? If so, what is your config for it? I'm geting constant OAuth2 errors with it sandboxes, but none with it not.

    I justt started using PopPeeper again. I previously used it several years back. I have PopPeeper Pro and PopPeeper Plus Pack and find it very nice - am using is again as my EMail Clent. It has so many features and is relatively easy to use. Thanks for mentioning it again, to jog my memory.
