I don't understand why Zorin's latest version is based on Ubuntu 18.04. A new LTS version of Ubuntu came out five months ago.

The Zorin OS 15 series is supported until 2023, the same length of time as the maintenance updates for Ubuntu 18.04. Considering all the in-house Zorin components included and the amount of work involved there would be little point in trying to convert it all now using 20.04 instead.

Well, Linux Mint follows the latest Ubuntu LTS, so it can be done.

In my view, the interface is one of the WORST parts of Windows 11 (and 10, and 8.x)!!!

Wonder if there's a way to make a current version of Zorin OS to look like Windows 7, or Vista? Earlier versions haven't looked nearly enough like Windows to make it interesting. I like the Windows 7 interface (especially Aero Glass) but not the telemetry or enforced updates of Windows 10.

Not impressed. I installed the free version. Fonts and wallpaper appeared blurred and washed out.
    Deleted the partition and ISO.

I installed a previous version and wasn't impressed. I've downloaded the ISO and was going to try a live session but might pass on it too.

Zorin is based on a modified GNOME desktop so its not to everyone's taste.

A lot of Ubuntu derivatives are built on LTS for stability and they usually come out on a "when we're ready" cycle.
