Mozilla Firefox Browser Stable Version Releases

Thanks for checking. Did you scroll the page or click anything? I'm not exactly sure what triggers it. I pretty much just have uBlock Origin installed but so does Chrome and Edge and neither of them have the problem. I can't blame it on AV, it happens on PCs with ESET and Windows Defender.

 

no problem. yeah, i did. the infinite scroll works fine and all images are clickable while ubo is active.

 

Weird problem. I just figured Microsoft was trying to force me to use Edge as this happens on at least 4 PCs I have accessed. Now I'm more unsure than I was.

 

so you think it's deliberate on ms's part?

 

I do now. When you go to the Bing homepage, if you click on any of the links in the news feed at the bottom, when it goes to that page you usually have the "Trending on Bing" at the top with more links. This has been missing from Firefox for the last 2 days. It works on Edge and Chrome. They really don't need to give people yet another reason to use a different search engine.

 

the lower line with images and news? all present here, ublock origin active. with the hamburger button you can show or hide it (also with the drop marker left side)

anyhow bing looks like google, no matter which one you uses, google has much better results.

Not the lower line. After you click on that lower line the next pages have an upper line. In any case this is uBlock Origin doing this. Only in Firefox though, and only for the last 2 or 3 days after years of it working before. I guess I should have checked that first but since it worked in Chrome and Edge I didn't expect it to be different.
