    It is not AdGuard page. It is Weebly 404 status page.

    Consider that injecting pages by DNS resolver only works for World Wide Web - I mean content you see in browser. It is not viable method for other Internet services such as e-mail, IRC, ntp etc

    Since with W.10 I don't have such problems.
    The only conclusion that Quad9 works badly in my OS/PC.:(
    But I'm open to reading other explanations..............

    Thank you both for the great links. :thumb: I haven't seen any drawbacks to Quad9.

    I do use that. My ISP of course, and Cloudflare are fastest, but Quad9 does well.

    Choice of DNS servers now comes built in with AdGuard for Windows v7.5.
    Currently set to Quad9 (post #81 above).

    The CleanBrowsing Security Filter blocks media players on some sites that start playing, and fly out to the lower right of screen when you scroll down. On other sites CB leaves the media players alone. Good if you don't want them and bad if you do want them. The Cloudflare Malware Filter lets the media players do what they want.

    Usually Quad9 with DoH, and 1.1.1.2 (Cloud Flare w/ malware blocking) as a backup.

    I use Private DNS on my phone now with DNS over TLS with the CleanBrowsing security Filter.
    Encrypted DNS - DNS over TLS support
    DNS over TLS support is available on all our services through port 853. DNS over TLS encrypts and authenticates all your DNS traffic to protect your privacy and prevent DNS hijacking and sniffing. Support for DNS over TLS (Private DNS) has been added to Android Pie 9 and you can leverage it right away with any one of our filters:

    Security Filter
    Our security filter blocks access to phishing, malware and malicious domains. It does not block adult content.

    Domain:: security-filter-dns.cleanbrowsing.org
    IPv4 address: 185.228.168.9:853 and 185.228.169.9:853

    Too slow in my area. I am also using the family protection which blocks malware and porn.
