Guys, did anyone notice that Facebook Messenger (web-based) is ridiculously slow to load? I haven't tested it yet on Edge and Chrome, but I have a feeling it might be a problem on Chromium browsers. Doesn't Zuckerberg feel any shame for producing such crap? Seems he didn't even bother to test it when he switched to Facebook's new website design. :gack:

    Yes @Trooper

Since I switched over to Vivaldi a year or more ago this browser is been fast loading and with uBlock Origin and others wiped away all that garbage they stuff sites with now that does noting but steal bandwidth from users and can overburden a PC's memory capacity. Very pleased with it. No issues

USA still the best. But barely.
For me Vivaldi is the tops.

Good to know guys thanks. I was going to wait for the RC to go final but just decided to install it. Lots of options here with this browser wow.

Question, why does Vivaldi do this when it is opened from the task bar?

Also, any way to speed up scrolling? Default seems a bit slow to Edge and Firefox with my tweaks. Thanks!

If Vivaldi is active then the icon will look like that, as opposed to the quicklaunch icon next to it.

Attach the 2nd and delete the 1st one, then you have just one icon.

I get why it happens just wondering if there is a way to make it stop. Other browsers do not do this.

    Any advice on scrolling speed?

No idea. It crawls compared to the rest of my browsers. Oh well.

You might try vivaldi://flags and some mouse or scroll settings. IDK if it helps though.

Weird, I have this problem with Firefox, scrolling is a bit slower. But I don't have this problem on Chromium based browsers like Vivaldi, Chrome and Edge.

Same over here, I think I would even pay for Vivaldi, it's really that good. :thumb:

Didn't even know about this, do you guys have any recommendations to make performance and privacy even better?
