Not much more to say, really. I haven't used an Android phone for a few months. Google Play must have updated and I keep getting notified by Google Play to turn on Notifications. I DON'T WANT Notifications or I would have them enabled. Is there a way to stop this, or do I just go back to my dumb phone? Thanks.
Well, that was an easy fix. The notification to enable notifications returned. Ripped the SIM card out and put it back into my dumb phone. Problem solved!
I think I had this problem about ie. carrier services. IIRC I just hold finger on notification until there were more options including spur gear in right top corner of notification, but maybe I did some additional steps to prevent further notifications. I don't remember exactly. Keep in mind different smartphone manufactures customize Android differently.
Hi rP, The notification that was bugging me was an orange / red icon on the Google Play shortcut. Also on Notifications within Google Play. I could dismiss it but sooner or later it returned.
